The title

The book was very insightful to up sewing and gave good personal examples of real life experiences.

mind blowing

This book has been an answer to prayer. For years I have been asking questions about tithe, seed and bread and I feel my misunderstanding being coming into alignment with God's intention.

I have found many blessing and prosperity books to name and claim but rather understanding the laws in which He built us to function in when it comes to finances, (the kindergarten of the Kingdom.) Financial Success God's way however is not a book of principles to follow, it's an instruction on the ways of the Prince.
I realize my good intentions can still lead me astray.

In a similar way if I was nieve about vitamins and minerals and had good intentions but a poor diet, I couldn't just "believe" I was healthy. I would need to educate and make adjustments to find health.

King David had good intentions when he 1st brought the Arc towards Jerusalem, but did it based on his understanding and not God's way. As a result Usala died and the project was stopped, while David learned God's Way. This book has taught me God's way of finances as far as the law of sowing and reaping and I feel equipt to go back to Obed Edoms house and retrieve the Blessing I abandoned in a previous season, this time God's way.

Really excellent read, explains the Biblical foundations of finances in such a practical and heartfelt way.

A few good principles, some taken too far

I wish I could say I could recommend this book. I totally agreed with its message at the beginning that Christians need to get better at handling money, not be ashamed of making it, but it seemed to undermine its own message.

The book does have some good basic principles - like the importance of sowing financially into God’s kingdom and putting Him first, yet that will look a bit different for everyone.

It’s not only hard to ignore that the female author of this book described herself as working for very very little money for an entire year as her gateway to being blessed by God, which is dangerous advice to give - especially for women, who already tend to undervalue their work - but also that the book repeatedly describes “upward giving” as giving to a MAN of God, when there are plenty of women in ministry who would benefit from financial assistance in their ministries.

Overall, the few good principles in this book don’t, in my opinion, make up for the teaching that does not seem beneficial to me and some of it can be downright harmful, especially if taken too far.
