Final play

This was the game changer. The heart breaking news was a lie only to weasel money 💰💰💰off a hard earning player. Then C.J. breaks Mel's heart. Can they get back the fragile trust after the good news on both sides? What a series.

Fantastic

The series is wonderful. I loved it. The story flowed and kept me transfixed and wanting more. The characters never failed to keep you focused to the story. The alpha is swoon worthy. The heroine is strong, kind and smart. They are very authentic. I really enjoy the author's writing.

Great Book

This is the 3rd book in the series. The first 3 books all involve the same couple, but each book can stand on its own.
Confusion about a work injury causes trouble for this new couple, can they work threw it or is it over?

Book 3

CJ and Mel love story. Very sweet story. A lot of twists and turns. Mel has been hurt in the past.

Great Story!

I was given this free review copy audio-book at my request and have voluntarily left this review. This is the 3rd book in the Player series, the conclusion of CJ and Mel's story. Just when you think everything is working out for CJ and Mel! CJ is a professional football player and Mel is a sports physical therapist. CJ gets hit and knocked out for a few minutes and the team doctor told him he had CTE. He didn't want Mel to have to take care of him and made a stupid decision (he really is an ignoramus), This book had me feeling angry, sad, happy, I was all over the place!

I love these 2! I listened to the audible of this. The narration was mostly good. Several stumbles and even a burp! But I enjoyed the story and Stella closed out their story with a great HEA!

Review

I received this audiobook for a review. I really enjoyed Jonathan’s Waters narration of Final Play by Stella Marie Alden. He has a great voice and was very engaging with his reading cadence. The only audio issue I found was editing issues. It seemed there were place holders for the audio editor to address but didn’t.
I would definitely listen to another story narrated by Jonathan Waters.

Final Play

This is one series that I can never get tired listen too. The characters are so family oriented they leave minimal room for friends. I just love CJ for being the strong alpha male willing to do everything to protect his wife. I adore Melanie for being a strong woman for holding her own through thick and thin. Above all I have to give it to the narrator he was amazing.

Absolutely Fabulous!

Mel, a new NFL wife is told by the other wives that rule number one is “Do not upset the NFL star during game season, no matter what”. CJ, survived the childhood from hell and will not go down the path of his father, no matter what. Combine these two “no matter what’s”, add in greedy, unscrupulous team management, and you have the catalyst’s of Final Play. Filled with angst, and searing burning heat, this story is well worth pouring a drink or three, and settling back with your headphones (and trust me you WILL need headphones). Jonathan Waters absolutely nailed the narration and Stella Marie Alden blew this series out of the box with her writing. Oh and Stella, I’d love to hear Andy’s story, hint...hint.

This is the 3rd installment in the story of CJ, who is a professional QB and his wife, Mel, a sports therapist. Just when you think everyone is going to run smooth, more ups and downs lie ahead for the couple. Follow along as they find their way to one another in this sports romance HEA. The narrator did a great job!
