Another great story Tammy and Carter are fated mates but with a slight twist he’s a feral wolf shifter with some ups and downs they are able to overcome his feral side to get a well deserved happy ending I received a free copy of this book via book sprout and wanted to leave a review

Feral wolf

I find this series highly addictive, and this ninth book is no exception.

Carter and Tammy's story is an emotionally heartbreaking roller coaster full of twists and turns I didn't see coming. I was captivated from start to finish. The story flows well, and the characters, all of whom we had mostly met before, continue to evolve.

When Carter rescued Tammy from a car she had crashed on New Year's Eve, he had no idea how much his life was about to be forever changed. He got Tammy out of the wreck, and as they say, that was when the fun started. I was easily pulled into their story and didn't want to stop listening. It's another great addition to the Marked Over Forty series and tells how Carter, a feral wolf and single mum Tammy were brought together by fate. But having lost so much in his life already, he was reluctant to admit his true feelings and accept his fate. I'm glad Carter finally found his mate; he's waited long enough.

The narration by Elle Soali is, as always, just perfect.

Enjoyable

I enjoyed this shifter tale very much. Carter and Tammy were relatable, and I liked the story behind their relationship build. Meg Ripley does a fine job of weaving together her shifter stories in such a way that it's easy to imagine and relate to the world in which her characters operate. Elle Sonali's narration did a nice job of bringing Carter and Tammy's story to life.

Can a fated mate overcome a feral wolf?

Tammy finally let herself consider dating only to find her boyfriend overly friendly with someone else at midnight. Carter never imagined when he heard the car crash during the storm, he would meet the one person he had given up hope of finding.

Tammy and Carter both have demons they are fighting. I loved the evolution of their relationship as they worked to try and find their way to each other completely. This was a great additional to the Marked Over Forty series and I can’t wait to continue to read more about these characters and the packs in town.

Audiobook is narrated by Elle Sonali. She has a very pleasant voice and brings each character to life. I enjoyed listening to her.
Tammy and Carter each had their struggles to overcome. Carter with his feral wolf and Tammy with never shifting and raising daughters on her own. Even though they're fated mates, being together doesn't come easily. Lots of drama, danger, steam, wonderful characters, and a happily-ever-mated.

Part of the Shifter Nation: Marked Over Forty, Carter and Tammy's story is wellwritten with a very good storyline, twists, turns and romance. I enjoyed listening to Elle Sonali narrate their story. I want to listen to the next book.

Great story and narration!

I love the world building Meg has done with her books. She does such a great job with it that you're immersed into the stories. I couldn't put this one down once I started listening. I'm really happy with how her cheating boyfriend is dealt with.

Saving my mate

I loved this story of a feral wolf and the mate that lands in his lap. It has danger, suspense and a love that leads to a happy ever after. I love this series. The characters are so well written they come to life in each chapter.
