Three friends stumble across a dilapidated mansion in the woods … the door is ajar … the temptation too great … the consequences … Ahh saying would be playing spoiler and that … would … be …wrong! What isn’t wrong is “Feast of the Flesh - The Cannibal Grim’s Rhapsody”, a delightfully inventive, beautifully creepy, frighteningly original short story, and I loved everything about it! The plot held my interest and nooo I’m not telling! I will say the writing is beautifully cohesive, AND the story’s easy to follow. The characters are truly a delight! They run the gamut from normal, like Mia, Jake and Lil from down the block, to the truly frightfully creepy! Flawless, beautifully animated narration not only sets the mood perfectly, but magnificently brings the authors stunning vision to life! This short story is the perfect length to listen to multiple times … and that’s exactly what I did. Five thought provoking, perfect stars across all categories! I loved it!
