Great story

I loved the overall story line of the series. I like this one the best though.

Just loved all of the stories and characters. So glad she included the characters from the other books. So often they leave
you hanging in the other books but a least we got a little of the life after.

Another winner by Kari Lynn Dell!

Dell takes readers on another trip into the world of rodeo but this time it’s Wyatt Darrington’s turn to be the main attraction. Dell does a great job forming each character’s personality without sacrificing a good story line. Her ability to weave the lives of the characters together from book to book keeps me burning through each book as fast as I can so I can get to know the next characters. This books takes place mostly in Pendleton Oregon which is a nice change from Texas and allows the reader a deeper look into the world of rodeo beyond the state of Texas. Pendleton is famous for the Pendleton Round-up, one of the biggest rodeos in the world. And once again Dell brings forward a strong female character who is able to hold her own and kick butt when needed. Perhaps what I like the most about Dell’s books is how the men and women come together as equal partners instead of the woman fainting and being caught by the man all the time! But the men are still strong and virile and tough enough not to be intimidated by a strong woman. Instead they value the women for their independence and strength.

Great Series!

I loved all these books. Even when I wasn’t sure I was going to like them in their first chapters. But these characters feel like family. Their stories are all different and not one feels contrived or molded into a shape. The gals can be a bit rough around the edges, and downright crude at times. The men have all the manners and they treat their women with respect, kindness and love. They are generally written from the female perspective, except for Cole’s story, which ended up being my favorite story and my favorite of all character. Don’t give up on any resolution you might be wondering about, she often answers questions in subsequent books. Not sure how many volumes the series will end up with, but I’m along for the ride til the end, as long as Johanna continues to narrate. Something about that woman feels like home. No matter how edgy, sharp, rough or hard a day has been, Johanna can soothe the stress with her wonderful voice.

My favorite out of the seris

This is my favorite out of the series. I'm from the northwest and have rodeoed at all of the places mentioned in the story, that's probably why its my favorit.

Love the characters!

Love all the strong women! The twists and turns of the books always kept me wanting to keep listening/reading. So sad the last 2 books are not on audible! Time doesn’t always allow for sit down reading, listening while driving or doing chores makes them more enjoyable when you have great books!
Kari Lynn Dell was truly a talented writer, taken too soon!
