Absolutely loved it! Very well done and worth the wait!

This was a great story! It was very well done. I loved getting to know and see Alex and JT throughout this story and loved that it gave us their history as well. This book can be read as a stand alone though I do think if you have read previous books you will get extra enjoyment from knowing a lot of secondary characters as well as having been anticipating Alex and JT's story. Since this story does go back and forth from the present to the past as it matters to the story and to JT and Alex's love story you do get the information that is needed for them. I loved getting all those important tidbits from the past and seeing the relationship that they had and how they were torn apart. They really had some growing to do and JT some healing that needed to be done in order for them to have a strong, healthy, lasting relationship together. The way that the past and present time periods were used and woven together throughout the story were really well done! Sometimes it can be a little confusing or jarring with the jumping back and forth, but I didn't feel that with this story. It had its place and made sense and gave important information that really tied things together as the story went on and gave us the character development. We get to see how the different events shaped and changed JT and Alex as well as their friends and brought them to the current situation they found themselves in. It was amazingly done and how the dangerous situation Alex finds herself in is all tangled together. Alex is in a traffic stop that goes horribly wrong and then is on the run, for her life, as someone is after her for something they think she has/knows and the cops for a crime she didn't commit. This story will keep you fully engaged and on the edge of your seat as you read it, needing to know what is coming next and how everything will work out. The romance is really well done and so is the suspense/thriller aspect of this story. It made for a really great combination that I absolutely loved.
The narrators did a great job with the story and characters bringing them to life as they showcased the emotion and action well throughout the story. It added that extra dynamic.

False Evidence was amazing. I absolutely loved it. This book had me on the edge of my seat practically from start to finish. It was riddled with twists and turns. I loved the way author structured and told this story it made it that much more compelling. I loved her use of past and present to tell the story. The narrators were the icing on the cake bringing life this tale and its characters in vivid detail. They did an absolutely amazing job. I highly recommend it.

I absolutely loved this second chance romance. JT and Alexandra were perfect together and this HEA was a long time coming! The narrators were perfect!

Suspenseful romance

I am relatively new to Rachel Grant and I have loved what I've read/listened to so far. I found her after picking up an ARC of a book in another series. This is the first book in this series I've read and was surprised to learn that this is the last book of the series. Ugh! I definitely want to go back and start at the beginning. You can be confident that this works as a standalone. I was completely invested. I love suspenseful romance and this book satisfied my craving of needing a good storyline with characters I want to get to know, and kept me on the edge of my seat while everything unraveled. Beautiful HEA. I look forward to reading/listening to more from this author in the future.

The narrators were excellent. They brought the audiobook to life with emotional performances that had it rolling like a movie in my head. Perfection!

I don't think I knew how much I needed this story

I don't think I knew just how much I needed this story. I of course always had a side wonder of how JT and Alexander's real story went, since they appeared in the other books, but this story was absolutely perfect. I count myself lucky that I recently binged the series, instead of being a fan since the beginning, because I feel I could relate to them and recall the past moments mentioned better than if I'd listened/read as they came out. The emotions were real and raw, and the interactions between Gemma and JT were precious and priceless-I am smiling right now recalling some of them as they play out like a movie scene in my head. Action, danger, mysteries to solve which were quite crazy, and suspense created a perfect blend with the love and emotions in my opinion. JT and Alexander just had to wait for the right time for their love story to reach epic proportions and forever happy ending status. The narrators did a terrific job of bringing the story to life.
