Kyrie is disappointed, and he has to figure out how to handle the stranger's betrayal especially since his pride is at stake. Kyrie for sure met his match in Khelani. Will he be able to win her heart, or is she too much like him for the pair to ever click?

I did not enjoy the non human voice. I could only listen for the first chapter. It ruined what could have been a good book.

Everything can not be computer narrated

I enjoyed the story line and will have to continue the story!
As I mentioned before every type of book that is written cannot be computer narrated. The author took the time to graft the appropriate slang words and phrases into the story that attracted a reader like me that enjoy Urban fiction. I appreciate that. I encourage it. However, the technology is not there yet, nor advanced enough to use this type of verbiage. Not sure whose idea this was but don’t. Big “NO!”. This author is too talented to have the work ruined with the use of computer narration. After listening to this book, and having to correctly pronounce the words and phrases to myself has encouraged me to pursue a hobby in voice narration. I would do it for free. I would be an asset for the love and support of more urban fiction authors needing my services.

STOP USING VIRTUAL VOICE!!!!!

The reading was too robotic and no emotions! Horrible!

The reading of this book was trash! The robotic voices and lack of inflicting and emotions made book bad. Story was good but reading made it horrible 😭
