Hilarious misadventures when Cliff has a mid life crisis and decides that he needs a new direction. Accepting redundancy from his boring job, he then late one night after too many drinks recklessly bids online for a remote old hotel, sight unseen. Perched precariously on a cliff edge - big mistake. Little does he know - it's but the beginning of his problems but also a new love in his life.

Cliffs View turns out to be the hilarious "Hammer House of Horrors”, in the middle of nowhere he has ever heard of. Can Cliff turn the run down and mysterious old hotel into the boutique hotel business he's always dreamt of owning? And will his partner Becky, the beautiful young gym teacher with a taste for shopping, champagne and the good life share his vision of running a hotel?

Cliff soon discovers running a business isn’t as easy as he had imagined. After all he has no hospitality experience whatsoever even wth help from his good mate Dezzer who comes to stay. Will they ever get the business up and running?

Then there are unexplained and mysterious happenings at the hotel along with the bumps in the night. Perhaps the whole project is jinxed. Can Cliff’s cousin Gemma, the queen of hospitality help turn the hotel business around? But Gemma has a fiery temper and her own love problems to deal with.

Nothing is as it first appears at Cliffs View. And then Cliff discovers that the villagers of nearby Cranmouth on Sea conceal dark secrets.
