This is the second Honey Mountain book I’ve listened to.. A beautifully written second chance romance is unerringly endearing.. Both Sarah McEwan & James Gloucester did a fantastic believable job of narrating these stories.. Thank you Laura Pavlov!! Love this series!!

Hawk and Everly

A sweet, sensual and charming second chance romance. I loved Hawk and Everly together, they are just too cute. I was captivated from the beginning and left with a smile on my face in the end. Fun story.

Love

I have read other books in this series but jumped at the chance to buy this book (thank you 2 for 1 credits). Sweet, relatively low angst second chance romance that made me smile, tear up a bit and swoon lots. I loved the main couple and Hawk especially, with his obvious love for his woman but also her family and his, really stood out. Absolutely wonderful story with a great narration cast (who were new to me).

Instant Fave

I am a sucker for second chance and this hit every single mark. Hawk and Everly are so good together. I ate up their chemistry and their story. I am kicking myself for not reading this series sooner! And the audios are incredible. Adding these narrators to my favorites.

Strong narration makes the book more engaging

I liked this more than I expected. I listened to the audio and I think that contributed to my enjoyment. So much of this book seemed to be dialogue. The narrators helped bring the characters to life and I'm not sure I would have felt them as much if I had only read it. Hawk was the perfect man - he forgave Everly easily for breaking his heart and was "all in" pretty quickly. He always said the right thing and gave her exactly the amount of space and support she needed. He didn't feel like a real person but once I embraced the too easy second chance of it all, I didn't mind too much. Everly felt a bit more realistic of a character, though she too had an easier time pushing past her trauma responses than I would have anticipated. But it made for a comforting read with some comedic scenes, swoony lines, and a large engaging community surrounding the two main characters. I'm interested in trying one of Pavlov's newer books to see how her storytelling has progressed.

Love is in the air!

I loved this and Everly character grew so much. I absolutely loved that for her. Hawk and Her relationship was the real deal.

The sisters love and closeness, and the quirky town members round the love story out perfectly, glad they didn't need weeks to decide they were perfect for each other
