La aparición de dos chicas jóvenes inconscientes y con heridas graves a la entrada del Hospital Civil de Venecia pone a Brunetti y Griffoni tras la pista de dos jóvenes venecianos que podrían haber incurrido en un delito de omisión del deber de socorro.
