If a Bardo is a state of mind between heaven and hell, then I have made my way through the hell Hollywood metes out and instead found the state of mind known as creativity, a heaven beyond the specifics of my childhood dream. To achieve a state of being that can create heaven wherever you live, and work so you don't need the approval of the outside world—because you define your success—is to escape the illusory Bardo.
