No vengo a decirte que el porvenir es brillante ni que vamos encaminados a una vida de felicidad y prosperidad. Tampoco vengo a alabar estas soledades en las que vivimos, sino a señalar el callejón sin salida del que no podremos escapar a menos que replanteemos lo que hoy es realmente importante. Estoy aquí para hablar de las cosas incómodas que nos esforzamos en creer que no existen: la desconfianza en los otros, la repetición autómata que sustituyó a la inteligencia, el individualismo que por fin nos explotó en la cara tras la pandemia, la precaria educación de las nuevas generaciones, la apatía, los índices de suicidio o para hablarte de un futuro asegurado tan solo para unos pocos.
Vengo a exponer el malestar en el que vivimos hoy, producto de olvidarnos de nuestro contexto, nuestros vecinos, nuestras colonias y pensar solo en nuestro propio bienestar.
Vine a jodernos el día: estoy aquí para hablar de ti.
Regresa Vico con su libro más polémico, más visceral y comprometido. Un manifiesto contra todos los idiotas del mundo, una autocrítica necesaria para una generación perdida que no ha sabido dar un paso adelante y tomar las riendas del futuro.
