The Hero's Journey is God's Story

In fiction writing there is a pattern called the Hero's Journey that seemingly all wildly successful epic stories follow. The author does an excellent job of showing how this model applies to most epic of all stories. Starting before this world existed and ending after its final day, he shows how the heart of every human being is hard wired to identify with the story of God.

Beautiful comparisons

The romance and love of our Lord explained and expanded so beautifully; and how much He craves for us to turn to Him in love, voluntarily!!!

Such a great book, makes my heart come alive! John does an excellent job reading, very engaging.

I read Waking the Dead and I love that this is kind of a condensed version I can recommend to loved ones that might be unsure about their role in the Story or just anyone who has lost sight of the ending and need a reminder. Loved it!
