The second book in the Zakota Chronicles series follows Greer McClelland, rescued by an underground hybrid alien-human people with special abilities and a fascinating history. Her daughter Star bears the star on her right hand, and will be a future leader of the Zakota tribe as well. The first book set the scene of this underground world and the characters Greer would meet, and how she would transition to one of them. But now, in the second book, Greer will suffer dangers and difficult life obstacles that will either help her grow or destroy her.

WOW! Fantastic Sequel
This book as a sequel has a wow effect! The first book gave hints that let you know at some point future predicted moments would occur but was still up in the air for exact time. When things started happening in the second book it had some twists and turns that were definitely not expected. I really got into the second book and am looking forward to the next in the series.

Fascinating World
Book 2 continues Greer's journey and once again I am fascinated with the world the author has created for this series. I became invested in the charaters early on and am in awe at how their story progresses in this installment. As with book 1 I found the narration to be a bit robotic but it did not take away from the story. I look forward to more by this author
