Engaging writing augmented by brilliant narration!
As someone who was impressed by Narcos, Netflix's original, I had my doubts about the Tamil version especially it's concised format. Pa Raghavan made it interesting, and yet detailed in capturing the magnitude of the large scale cartel operation. His "Crazy Mohan" level writing infuses humor with local tamil jargon, slang and popular culture references. Deepika Arun is one of my favorite Tamil narrators and her commanding performance matches the joyful writing. I wish this book could have been a bit longer in capturing the nuances of the boots on the ground efforts by DEA, which was covered nicelyl by the TV show. I can't wait for more audiobooks from Pa Ra and Deepika team. Kudos to them.
