Freedom from Food
This audible book by Sarah Meyers; helped me to realize my relationship with food was killing me, to examine the root of my emotional eating, and to think twice of why I am stuffing my face with carbs/fast food/sweets. Looking to the wrong food for comfort to mask the trauma, disappointment and depression that this journey of life can give. With being athletic and studying professional dance from childhood to 22 years old, running track, a cheerleader- I should know better. But, motherhood/ other issues, several death of family members just got in the way. So I decided to pick this book, not knowing what a positive uplifting result it would have on me. I even started walking again doing my besr to get those 10,000 steps in. I have listened to the book several times to absolutely intake every word. Thank you Sarah Meyers for my journey to freedom from food.
