Awesome book!
We just finished listening to the entire green ember series (4 books). It’s a phenomenal series. It’s a children’s story to be sure….but it touches the soul of young and old alike….because it speaks to the battle of the human soul—the desire for good, the longing for something bigger and better than ourselves….a challenge to remain faithful and true to Truth and a reminder that it’s not about me, as an individual. Listening to it with my children, I couldn’t help but think of our own lives as we are battle for truth and goodness. I highly recommend it! Every single one of us was enthralled as we listened to book after book. It is so worth listening to over and over again!! Joel Clarkson does a phenomenal job narrating.

SD Smith is a great author I have all his green ember series except for Lander and the Dragon War I seriously recommend it :)

Must read this series! Audio version is perfect!
This is one of the best series of all time. Right up there with Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia & Lord of the Rings. Just more accessible for younger kids. My daughter who is about to enter 3rd grade also really enjoys the series. Highly recommend for long car trips with the family.

Amazing series
This was a delightful and beautiful story. The author excelled at his writing! This is a masterpiece. The narrator was AMAZING! The voice placed me right there in the story. This series needs to be listened to from book one to book four. Great series!

The green ember
This book was SO good! 😁 I absolutely loved this story! I love Joel’s style in writing! The narrators voice was soothing, calm, and he was really good at the voices! However this book is pretty deep I would recommend it for about eleven and up... other than that this story was really great! Wonderful end to a wonderful book hope he comes out with another!

A great conclusion to an awesome series.
Ember’s End is the culmination of all of S.D. Smith’s previous books, including his Tales of Old Natalia and A Green Ember Story series. It brings this amazing story of hope, heroism, and humor to a thrilling conclusion. It is the most intense of the books, as it brings us to the climax of centuries old conflicts between animals who wield medieval weapons in addition to teeth, claws, and beaks. The characters you have grown to love face their greatest challenges and perils here. But in doing so, they reveal the series for what the author promised us in the very first book: “...a story to make us brave.”

Fabulous ending
Fantastic book / series from beginning to end. Great read for adults and middle school or older children (war & death within the story/series). Looking forward to the novellas.
