Nation of Islam leader Elijah Muhammad became famous for his popularization of an Afrocentric branch of Islam. In later years, however, the movement came under fire after critics pointed out that its ideology had very little to do with the mainstream faith.
Nevertheless, Elijah’s words and teachings still managed to galvanize and capture the hearts of millions of disaffected and oppressed African Americans. During the movement’s heyday in the 1950s and 1960s, Elijah extended his hand to a downtrodden people in a way that few others could.

Elijah story
presentation was great! The timeline of events were off! the points of view for another side was interesting because I heard the NOI full story. The details of Fard and Elijah beginning was the best. I compare both stories for my conclusion. The blame for Malcolm X assassination was already proved that it was the FBI J. HOOVER long time hit. They just wanted to know if Malcolm X protection was no longer from the National of Island. FBI J Hoover killed allt of Black man but I know for sure Allah in the person of Master Card Muhammad is real because they can't touch Elijah Muhammad and Minister Louis Farrakhan 💯💪🏾
