Tinsel Tumbleflump is the Assistant to the Head Assistant Toy Master in Charge of Gears, Motors, and Electric Things. His job is to make sure that all of the electrical stuff that gets put into all the toys is working properly: no loose wires, everything oiled, and the fresh batteries of the right size and shape! While dusting off Mostly Official Bookshelf Number 17, on the seventeenth shelf, he noticed something a little strange about book number seventeen. It looked much older than the rest of the books around it.

The book turned out to be full of short stories. Stories all about Christmas!

The stories that you will read in this book are directly from that dusty book on Bookshelf Number 17. He had to write them down each by hand since the book is not allowed to leave the Library. But he wanted to make sure that as many children as possible would be able to hear these stories, and so he spent many long days writing each one down and creating the book that you hold in your hand right now.

I hope you enjoy these stories as much as I enjoy writing Christmas books for kids. They are perfect for bedtime stories (or morning stories, or afternoon stories for that matter) during the Christmas season or any time of year!
