Marta es una chica gallega que vive en París cuando, un domingo cualquiera al amanecer, estalla la noticia: el mundo se acaba en 48 horas. Contaminación, pandemias, olas de calor, sequías... El planeta Tierra ha alcanzado un punto de no retorno. Perdida y confusa, Marta se lanza a la calle de manera atropellada. Solo sabe que tiene que huir de la capital francesa. Pero los transportes no funcionan y las comunicaciones están fuera de servicio.

Tu padre está malherido. Ha tenido un accidente de caza. Ven, te lo pido. Vuelve a casa. Oihane recibe el mensaje de su madre y sin dudarlo pone rumbo al barrio rural que la vio nacer y crecer. También, que la vio huir. Su padre ha sido alcanzado por la escopeta de un vecino y debe acudir a su lado, pese a que sabe lo difícil que es regresar a Urrun. Las gentes de allí son ariscas y desconfiadas. Violentas. Oihane no tarda en descubrir que nada ha cambiado. Tampoco que todo lo que rodea el accidente está envuelto en un misterio muy turbio, ya que su padre no ha sido el único que ha resultado herido.
