El contrato es la segunda entrega de la célebre serie de novelas policíacas protagonizada por el inspector Joona Linna.
En el archipiélago de Estocolmo aparece una embarcación privada. Dentro, se halla el cuerpo sin vida de una mujer. Su pelo, su piel, sus ropas están secos. Y, no obstante, la autopsia revela que los pulmones están llenos de agua. La víctima murió ahogada.

Morir para no vivir la peor pesadilla
De la tres novelas de la saga de Joona linna, esta segunda novela la considero mi favorita, su ritmo incesante de acción con personajes interesante la hacen cautivadora de principio a fin y con una narración muy apropiada para la novela.
