Is there anything you would change about this book?
Belli recurre a su ya conocida (y exitosa) prosa decimonónica para re-imaginar la historia del pecado original. Si buscas un discurso feminista entrelíneas, no lo vas a encontrar aquí. Lo que sí encontrarás es un Paraíso en el que el Creador está ausente y Eva tiene que tomar todas las decisiones -a pesar de Adán- y con la única guía de la Serpiente.

Si ya leíste La mujer habitada, las descripciones paradisíacas de este libro te resultarán harto familiares. Si este es tu primer acercamiento a Belli, estas descripciones resultan muy placenteras.

La voz de Adriana Sananes parece haber sido fabricada para esta narración. Fluye dulcemente, sin empalagar. Su narración no distrae del texto, sino que lo complementa. Sananes una excelente actriz. Espero volver a escucharla en otro texto.
