Outstanding Australian fiction
An entertaining, heart wrenching and gripping story. Worthy of high school book lists. Lest we forget.

Deep dive
This was a deep dive into a whole library of people and places and Lucashenko brought the stories and characters together across generations and places masterfully. I felt like I was watching time unravel. This was my first Lucashenko, now I can’t wait to read her other books.
