Absolutely above expectations. This is a wonderful guide to anyone who would like to develop their knowledge of economics!

In a nutshell, Economics is Avery wide told of discussion, with a lot of advantages. Knowing key economic terms, from supply and demand to econometrics and monetary policy, will help you understand more about the field. You will also give yourself more credibility when speaking about economic matters; and learning key terms can be a great way to study economics more broadly, and it can also help develop your skills of economic analysis.

Thomas Herold outlined this guide clearly and easy to understand with real-life examples. The examples given from daily life make the course very easy to understand and apply the concepts to my decision-making process. It is very up to date which makes it very interesting.

Thomas Herold compiles over 150 economic terms that are explained in detail with practical examples. Herold is one of my favorite authors when it comes to financial education. He never failed my expectation whenever he releases a book.

Whether you want to improve your studies or out of general interest, this book is for you.

Separate yourself from the "Average".

This author did an excellent job giving an easily understood introduction to anyone wanting curious about economics. This book feels like a "pre-course" because it doesn't get to I depth but more less open give you an understanding of what economics is and something everyone should know. I am looking to go back to school soon and know that economics will be one of my classes. I feel a little more prepared and less intimidated reading this book.

The teacher expalined his points well with the slowly speaks and clearly. I think the professor is very good. I also like the short sections just introducing the core concepts. This makes the material easier to learn and understand.

This is a great book if you are interested in economics. This book begins with a look at what exactly the study of economics is. The chapters are well organized and is written well enough for anyone to get a solid understanding of the basic economic concepts. The author does spend some time looking at the Federal Reserve, something that most people do not understand. I was happy to learn more about this topic. The final chapter is about the future of economics, which is an evolving science. If you are looking for a book to prepare yourself for an economics class or need a refresher of your economics knowledge, this book is for you.
