Wren’s haunting and complex past continued to keep me on the edge of my seat, also making me swoon with her connecting deeper and more intimately with her wolf fellas. This is book two in the Wolves of Crescent Creek, so prep your heart for another cliffy ending.

Vanessa Moyen performs this audiobook in dual narration featuring Connor Crais, Shane East, Jason Clarke, J.F. Harding, and Teddy Hamilton. This cast continues to leave me in awe! Vanessa’s expressive voice captured Wren’s fierce, strong, and passionate persona as she grew closer to her mates and faced her haunting past. Shane developed a devoted charismatic tone for Puck while JF gave Locke a quiet confidence that was admirable. Teddy’s loveable tone shed Brix’ guarded exterior, and Connor once again created a powerful dominance as the pack leader for Kingston. Jason’s signature growl portrayed Ender’s fighter persona. The cast turned up the heat with the fated chemistry between Wren and her mates.

Overall, I LOVED this book. If you are a fan of a wolf shifter romance with a fiercely strong wolf caster hybrid with a dangerous past, a protective pack of hunky male wolf shifters who work in security, fated mates, they rescue her, truths about the past, a pussy palace, steamy bonding, bow stick sparring, sensual baths, intimate conversations, shady fathers, marking your mate, a fiery climax, and a cliffhanger ending that will leave you LONGING for more, then you will love Wren and her wolf mate’s story. I can’t wait for more!

The narrators were fantastic and made the story come to life.

Omg!! It was absolutely amazing…Wren is now officially my favorite FMC of all time. This series is sooo perfect. Can’t believe I have to wait 2 more months for book 3.

Hate cliffhangers? Yes. Love these wolf-shifter, why choose, action-packed cliffhangers? Also, yes! I must say that I REALLY ENJOY these books for the action/ suspense & humor, not just the spice or heartfelt moments. I love the fight sequences, Wren's training, fight night, the drama, & yes, the cliffhangers! And, I really enjoy the humorous bits such as -- Wren calling Puck "buddy" (he doesn't want to be in the friend zone!); references to "Cat Daddy" Ender & his cat named Princess; Ender gets his nose broken (again!); Mean Girls get swirlies(!); & fun times w/ "morning wood" when 4 male wolf-shifters wake up practically spooning each other because they wanted to sleep near/be close to their mate, Wren.

I love the writing (Tessa Hale) and narration for these audios with top-tier talents Vanessa Moyen, Connor Crais, Jason Clarke, JF Harding, Teddy Hamilton, and Shane East. It's in dual, so they all narrate multiple characters during each of their chapters. It takes a bit to get used to it, but it's still really well done, as they are all excellent actors. Can't wait for book 3 -- the finale!

Fantastic on Audio! 🎧
Well folks, she’s done it again! It was so good, I read/listened to it twice in less than 10 days!! Tessa creates the most addicting, entertaining, binge worthy series’. You may or may not have regrets with binging it so fast, especially with her epic cliffhangers. This is book two of the Wolves of Crescent Creek & it picks up right after that cliffhanger from book one. 🫣 Wren is our baddie FMC & is a hybrid wolf shifter & mage, in hiding from her tyrant father. She is currently in the small town of Crescent Creek, when she encounters a pack of 5 alpha mercenaries, as they infiltrate her life one by one, and she feels an instant pull towards them. All of the MCs have dark pasts & demons, someone that connects them all. They definitely need to GROVEL after book one. So, from heads to bracelets, these wolves show their care and regret in their own way. Although we make some headway in the pack, Tessa’s not done testing them yet. && now we can all hang on yet another cliff, only for Tessa to save us all with book 3, Rising Reign (hopefully).

Incredible!

Eclipsed Empire is the second book/audiobook in The Wolves of Crescent Creek Series. It is a paranormal, shifter, why choose romance with MMA, revenge, danger, surprises, penance, and more.

This was a quick, but awesome read/listen. I simply loved everything about it. I honestly could not get enough and did not want it to end. I loved the intense action scenes as well as the sentimental and emotional ones too. I adored Wren, her mates, and their sizzling chemistry. The the casting for the audiobook was absolutely perfect.

The writing, flow, and pace of the story is terrific, as are the plot, storytelling, and world building. The character and relationship development, and the narration of the audiobook are also incredible. The huge cast of narrators are all top-notch. They brought true life, emotion, and chemistry to the characters and their story.

I would absolutely recommend this book, series, and the audiobooks. I know I will be very excitedly awaiting the next book/audiobook in the series.

I can’t get enough of Tessa Hale’s books. I devour them and then force myself to have to wait until the next book comes out. This time I listened to the audiobook and really enjoyed that but the raspy voice for Ender wasn’t my favorite if I had to be nitpicky. Also… that CLIFFHANGER?!?!?! 😱😱😱😭

Love these books

This series is a great break from the dark and twisted when I need a book cleanse, and they’re my favorite shifter books. The narrating is great, too, a few of my faves all in one.

There’s so much to unpack emotionally and I fell deeper in love with each character. All have been broken by their pasts and Kingston, Puck, Ender, Brix, and Loche formed bonds beyond blood. Now, the pack must navigate the complexities of their feelings for Wren.

Wren is a powerful portrait of resilience and must reconcile her fear of rejection, loss, and pain with the hope of finding a safe refuge at last.

The full cast transported me straight into this story that explores deepening relationships and understanding between them. The narrators channel the anguish, fury, and rage into something palpable and utterly captivating.

Eclipsed Empire is a fast-paced, thrilling, and heartrending sequel that had me under its spell from beginning to end. I didn’t just devour this book—I devoured it TWICE and will be counting down the days and minutes until the final installment!

🎧: Audiobook Narration & Production was FABULOUS - Highly Recommend!

Review: Another FANTASTIC audiobook performance of an EPIC story! Eclipse Empire came out swinging. The cliffhanger from Crescent Kingdom was heart stopping and I needed this next book to help repair my heart. It DELIVERED!

We had some amazing spicy scenes. Some much needed groveling. Connections strengthened. More questions asked with answers we still need. But that cliffhanger was even rougher than the first, and now I cannot wait to see how our guys literally BURN the world down for their mate!

Bravo! Tessa Hale keeps our attention from the first word until the very last. I devoured this audiobook in two days - couldn’t put it down. Found excuses to listen. I cannot wait for the next one!
