The criminal underworld hasn’t forgotten about the debt the cyborg owes them, either. Treeka vows not to exchange one corrupt master for another, but she’s low on options and people to trust. Somehow, Treeka has to undo the damage to Meeka’s implants and save the part of her that makes her the sibling she once was - and not lose her own body and soul in the process.

This beautifully narrated epic stands in a league of its own, even amongst the ocean of fantasy and sci-fi titans. As a fan of both genres, I was eager to get my teeth into the second installment of the series. Goodin sets the futuristic tone with artistic perfection as Treeka’s treacherous adventure unfolds, captivating me at every nail-biting turn. Without giving the unbelievable story away, this is a must-listen for Sci-fi fans.

Full of suspense!

I couldn’t stop listening to this book. If you like sci- fi then this book is for you. Very imaginative story line. The content is descriptive making you really understand and picture the story. The traumatic experiences that Treeka has to face and what she goes through as a cyborg keep you wanting more. I really felt for her. Treeka does anything to get her twin sister repaired. I recommend you get your copy today.

I love DB Goodin

This is 2nd of his book - both of which I listened to as audiobooks - and I think they're spectacular. Compelling. They draw you in. The world created is rich and alive. They're just a good time. Excellent narrator too. Recommend!

Amazing!

I have gotten everybook by this author and he never disappoint, the action, adventure and detail of this book is uncharted and very easy to get pulled into! I love how they are delivered and portrayed, 10/10 recommend, but you need to grab the whole collection!

Intense and Suspenseful !

Absolutely a must-listen audiobook for a sci-fi fan. The story brings the listener to another spectrum. Every aspect of this audiobook is top. The story plot, the character, and the action are intense and suspenseful. Can’t stop imagining if the story was real. I personally really enjoy the experience of listening to this. Highly recommended for sci-fi/fantasy fans.

Dark, Gritty & Immensely Entertaining! 🤖

The dystopian universe created by the amazing D. B. Goodin sizzles and comes to life in this fast paced book leaving the hardcore fans of the book series asking for more and newbies like me panting for breath! Mr. Goodin is a clever writer as he knows how to keep the story moving & the suspense building. Also, the narration of Keira Grace is excellent and as she has this phenomenal ability to switch her voice multiple times for different characters, even during rapid fire dialogue exchanges, it feels as if the story is unfolding in front of your eyes. Wonderful experience.

Great action packed book

I have always been an enormous action lover. This book has a great storyline, a remarkable sequence of events, and above all, so many twists that can keep you guessing what's going to happen next. I highly recommend this book. Someday I would like to see this book unfolds itself on a giant movie screen with multiple sequels.
