My heart is hardened to the wants of the world and all who occupy it, yet still I hear them call my name. Perhaps it’s time I started listening and found out why the stars have set us this fate. Or if not the stars, then who? Something is rotting at the heart of our lands. So now I have a choice to make. Will I seek out the decay and work to destroy it? Or will I join it in its destruction of this world in vengeance for all the suffering it has offered me?

I’m starting to want things I shouldn’t want. Desire a man I should hate. Care for a warrior I should only wish to harm. The point is, I’m beginning to feel like more than just another pawn in this endless game. But if I want to be the one who rolls the dice then I’m going to have to pay the price of playing for real.

I only wanted to claim revenge for what I’d lost.

Maybe Destiny isn’t done with me yet.

I need more! I love that we are experiencing another side of Solaria; there are elements that are familiar in context of ZA but known to this cast of characters differently or not at all. to say that I am riveted is an understatement!! I can't wait for the next part!

OMG

This story is getting so so good. I cannot wait to see what happens. It kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time.

Hunger Games meets ACOTAR meets Wicked

This story is turning out to be huge, perhaps even more epic than Zodiac Academy. Characters are faced with tough decisions about loyalty and purpose. The book is very thought-provoking when it comes to systemic oppression. Can't wait for book 3!

Amazing story

Loved the whole story but hated the cliffhanger at the end. Kept me rooted to the story and wanting more. Can't wait for the third installment!!

I like it

This is a really interesting story, with a brutal cliff hanger. There are several POVs and I’m still not sure who’s going to get an HEA together, if there’s going to be a why choose relationship, or how they all connect. Basically, I know nothing.

All the things we love about the twisted sisters

This isn’t a spoiler. I just think it’s fun to pick a favorite character for the series early on and see if that shifts by the end of the series. I was obsessed with fury in book one and I’m obsessed with fury in book two. All the enemies to lovers the twisted sisters are known for. And at this point I’m excited to see if character alliances shift completely in the next book. I loved every character in this installment. Vespers arc was a little slow at times for me. I loved all the characters surrounded by Everest though. I’m so curious to see how many different directions her character will go moving forward

All in all GREAT second story

My only complaint is always that I wish their books were done in duet or full cast duet narration. It would make these stories epic and immersive. I’m not a fan of dual even though Bridget and Jake are two of the only narrators I don’t mind in dual. And I know the zodiac academy is being done in graphic audio. But I’m not fan of the sounds. They are always SO cheesy and distracting. Duet and Fullcast duet are the best narration styles. Other than that, I have no complaints. It’s also more of a suggestion than a complaint. Hopeful for future duet narrated books from them :)

What I love about how the Twisted Sisters write is how detailed the chapters are from each of the different characters POV.
Where there were times in Never Keep that had me yawning, Echo Fort was action packed. I was not bored at all, tho I really was missing Galomp during the back end of the book but there were wolves that made me laugh so it was a slight replacement.
Tho I have noticed something, there are very little mention of virgos in the zodiac universe, like I feel quite left out

Better than Never Keep. The story progresses. Multiple POV - very similar vibes to Zodiac Academy. Love the characters - hate some of them but love them for it. You will be left with lots of emotions and not sure how to feel about it.

Narrators do an excellent job. They use different voices for each character so it helps keep track of who you’re listening to.

These characters and story line is awesome

Of all the series by the sinful sisters this one is my favorite so far.
