This is one of my my favorite childhood novels and it was a pleasure listening to it again as an adult. The story is gripping and full of personality. My second favorite Alex Rider book surpassed only by Scorpia.

Alex Ryder is fun-fiction!

Great plot twists! This was definitely a good shoot-'em-up-bang-'em-up, but it ends with Alex being a little sad. That makes it a gentle cliffhanger. (oxymoron! )

Great Alex Rider Book with a Great Plot & Villain

Excellent Alex Rider Book with a great story and great villain=Sir. Damian Craya very famous popular iconic influential powerful big successful bankable unforgettable professional wonderful talented celebrity with a plot to destroy the world with nuclear missiles (I wonder in real life if very famous popular iconic influential powerful big successful bankable unforgettable professional wonderful talented celebrities destroy the world with nuclear missiles but celebrities would not do this. Lots of Nonstop Great Action, Fun, Excietment, Thrills. I had read five Alex Rider chronologically and I realized that in the end of Eagle Strike Alex Rider's Uncle Ian Rider was a contract killerworked with Yassen Gregorovich and the MI6 killed Ian Rider The spin off prequel novel called Russian Roullette probably has a scene where Ian Rider works with Scorpia as a contract killer and worked with Yassen Gregorovich Is the MI6 in Alex Rider Book Series good or bad I will find out when I read all 13 Alex Rider Books loved and enjoyed Alex Rider Book Series also one of my favorite book series.

Great book, annoying chapter setup

I love the Alex Rider books. I love this book, where Alex is on his own because MI6 won't help him. But this particular recording is really annoying because the chapters as setup in the recording don't match the actual chapters of the book. In one "chapter" of the audiobook, you might have all or parts of 2 or 3 different chapters. Please fix this. I don't know who had the brilliant idea to screw up the chapters this way and frankly I don't care. Please just fix it.
