Im Rahmen einer ausführlichen Schritt-für-Schritt-Anleitung erfährt der Leser, wie das Depot eingerichtet wird, bevor mit dem Wertpapierhandel begonnen werden kann. Im Aktien-Teil werden außerdem acht Anlagestrategien von weltbekannten Investoren, wie Warren Buffett, betrachtet und so erläutert, dass der Leser selber in der Lage ist, diese für den Vermögensaufbau anzuwenden. Des Weiteren wird im ersten Teil ein kurzer Blick auf Anleihen und Zertifikate geworfen, um alternative Formen der Geldanlage aufzuzeigen.
Der zweite Teil des Buches befasst sich ausschließlich mit dem Thema Daytrading, vor allem auf dem Forex-Markt. Es dreht sich dementsprechend um den Handel mit Währungspaaren, wie dem EUR/USD. Der Leser erfährt alles über die ersten Schritte und den perfekten Einstieg in die Welt des Tradens. Die Chartanalyse wird erläutert sowie auch die Durchführung der Trendfolge-Strategie. Der Leser sollte sich über die Risiken des Tradens bewusst sein, deshalb wird ausführlich geschaut, wo die Gefahren für die Trader liegen. Um auf dem Forex-Markt erfolgreich zu sein, ist es wichtig, die zahlreichen Handelssignale zu kennen, die ebenfalls vorgestellt werden.
Im dritte und letzten Teil des Buches erfährt der Leser alles über die Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), die sich optimal dafür, um ein Basisdepot aufzubauen. Mit Exchange Traded Funds ist der langfristige Vermögensaufbau möglich, ohne dabei über sonderlich viel Fachwissen zu verfügen.
