Why, you ask? Well, according to her, I’m the only one on Paradise Isle that can help her.

Go figure.

So what am I supposed to do? Turn her away and look like an asshole? This whole “being a good person thing” isn’t as easy as it’s cracked up to be. Bear with me, will you? I’m still learning the ropes.

There is one thing I’ve learned in my attempts at turning over a new leaf, though. If I can help someone out of a tight spot, I should do it.

Right?

So now I’m determined to do just that and prove to everyone on this island that I’m a decent guy. Even if that means risking my own neck.

That’s right - I’m back. And I’ve got a whopper of a story to tell you.

Oh. And Al’s coming along for the ride. But don’t worry, I’ve got the wheel. (Mostly because he can’t see over it.)

Hang on tight.

Because Drunk’s driving.

More Caribbean flavored adventure. An octogenarian with a distaste for John Deere Green. And a hooker with an attitude. What could be more fun than that?

Rated R for colorful language, crude humor, sexual innuendos, and the occasional non-PC remark. Rated A+ for entertainment value.

Oh, and one more thing. While I’m not one of those people who’ll tell you what to do with your life or anything, I will say, if you haven’t listened to Drunk on a Plane or Drunk on a Boat, you might wanna start there. You’d find this story a lot more entertaining if you did. That said, this story can stand on its own two feet if required to do so.

Why bring in a second performer?

My hubs and I have listened to both the first ones and loved them. We don’t love the chick reading. Breaks up the flow & her voices all sound the same to us except Giselle. We thought Christopher did a great job with the female voices in the first two books & the additional voice seems unnecessary to us. We miss his voices for Francesca & Evie specifically 😩

Other than that, another great Drunk story.

DRUNK DRIVING

I happened to read the book on my iPad but was curious on how the audible would entertain me.

Having been in law enforcement some years back I guess I do become sensitive to anyone’s role as a cop.

It was appalling to listen to the immature acting of Drunk who at I believe age 35 in this episode acts like a 12 year old. Anyone using the “F” word as much as he does especially around the young girls he went in to save would be knocked down just for that.

The narrator for the female voices I thought was incredible. Very sexy voice and accent.

Amazing book would highly recommend to anyone who likes action with a little bit of mystery mixed in, and the ending is fantastic.

I loved this book. The narrator totally brings Danny Drunk to life. Good plot and lots of action!

The Average Joe of Private Eyes!

Entertaining, light, and just the right amount of "campy-ness" Drunk does it again! I like this series because the author doesn't try to make Danny Drunk something he's not. He bumbles, uses profanity, and has a few vices. He's no James Bond or Borne, but he's one of us! I dig this series, the pace, and the humor. Give it a listen from book 1, you won't be disappointed.

Another adventure! Enjoyed the simplicity of the story.

Enjoyed the adventure again. Not sure why Frankie sounded like a cheap Puerto Rican hooker in this book. She was hard to listen to. But overall enjoyed it.
