Excellent

After I got over the reader sounding like a cross between Clint Eastwood and David Puddy it was good. The female reader was very good.

Loved the book

The book was well done. I had a hard time with the narration. I know what the intent was in the breathy, rapid fire narration, but I found it distracting. I kept thinking I was listening to old Dragnet episodes!

Great story.

Very interesting story story had a lot of twisted terms Burns surprise ending enjoyed it.

Music? Why?

The pleasure of reading exciting books like Baldacci’s is greatly diminished by the imposition someone else’s mood! Send my next one without it, please!

Losing the girl is oh so cliche…

Very disappointed with the predictably… After 3 books of building the relationship between characters, the sudden ending was so cliche.

Great story line with an excellent narrator.
Love the archer series and can’t wait for the next one to come out!

5 star story and narration

Baldacci never fails you. Great character development and storyline filled with twists and turns. Hollywood in the fifties. So very cool. Major kudos to Ballerini and the female lead Brittany Presley. Just superb.

another great Archer novel

This is an excellent sequel to the Archer series. A great listen. If you liked the others, you'll enjoy this one.

Female narrator

Female narrator’s voice can drive you a little crazy, but good book and performance otherwise!

Fun

Great double entendres delivered deftly! Fun way to spend a few hours! Love the throwback to the 50’s time frame.
