When a brutal attack by the Myrs leaves those he holds dear teetering on the brink of death, Jack is faced with a choice: remain a bystander, or become the hero he once was.
Choosing the path of vengeance, Jack quickly learns that Agamemnon is no mere gang leader. With each encounter, Jack is left more broken than before, his spirit and body shattered by Agamemnon's superhuman ferocity. Lying in a hospital bed, his resolve melting into shadow, Jack encounters a mysterious woman. She offers him a cryptic bargain: to gain the power to defeat Agamemnon, Jack must embrace the darkness he seeks to destroy.
WILL HE CROSS THE LINE...
As Jack teeters on the edge of oblivion, the city holds its breath. The battle lines are drawn, and the final confrontation looms. Will Jack save Los Angeles and exorcise his demons, or will he become the very beast he hunts?
