Levinson’s military experience and knowledge of war history help him create gritty yet fantastical settings for his die-hards. The Rat Bastards are anti-heroes. Ray Porter kills it like usual and these brutal and graphic stories by Len Levinson are by far some of my favorite historical war fictions.
