Disappointed
I have read so many of Brenda Joyce books and this one rates at the bottom. Didn't like the main female character being so naive, gullible or at times down right stupid. Story itself was interesting but the main character Kaitlin was such a disappointment, I still love Brenda Joyce books and will keep reading them

What is Kate doing?
Why is Kate trying to fix her sister‘s life when Lana will just come back into her life in two days and ruin it again, disappointing everyone all over again? It seems almost cruel and shortsighted. It doesn’t make sense to me. Other than that, the book is very well written as is every book by Brenda Joyce.

Meh.
I remember reading this book years ago and thinking I had liked it. Not sure if it was the performance coloring my opinion but it was kind of blah. If you have misophonia, you may want to skip this one. Lots of swallowing/heavy breath sounds. Also horrible accents.
