Fun, cute story line.
It's a cozy mystery with fun characters. Not laugh out loud fun, but not boring either. The author likes to insert her political views every now and then into the story. I found that very annoying as you listen to books to escape.

The mystery
I love this series, but I have to admit this was not one of my favorites in the series. Well, we had a really good mystery with Dot and the gang the overall larger mystery in the book felt short for me. I have to say the spark between Jake and Charlie kind of fell flat for me. There wasn’t much going on between the two of them.
But like I said, I adore this series and will keep reading them. I never thought I’d hear myself say this, but I think I miss the excitement of the ham brothers.

Wonderful getaway
Love love this series it’s the perfect getaway and the characters are so funny. It’s a must try.

I do not understand why this series is not more popular. It’s funny, and totally an escape. Give it a try.

Loved it
Jasmine Webb has done it again with the latest installment in the Charlotte Gibson Mystery series. Charlie, Dot and Rose are up to their usual shenanigans once again as they investigate.
Khristine Hvam as always gave a standout performance as she brought the storylines to life and gave each character their own distinct voice.
I look forward to the next in series and highly recommend this book and series to cozy mystery fans.
