It's December 1999 and strange things are happening as the new millennium nears. A British police box appears from nowhere in San Francisco’s Chinatown and the mysterious man inside it is shot down in the street. very entertaining
I found this thoroughly entertaining just like the first, I really enjoyed it! the narrators did an excellent job! I highly recommend the audible collections 1 and 2 for any serious Whovian.

Just plain fun
As a die-hard DW fan for decades, I will give almost any DW story the benefit of the doubt and listen at least once. To my pleasant surprise, I greatly enjoyed these recordings. I'll admit I did not realize the narration for each story was performed by the on-screen companion of that production. What a delightful twist! The one story with the late Mary Tamm was done by John Leeson, who played K-9 in the story. The absolutely magnificent late Elisabeth Sladen even narrated her episode prior to her untimely death. Truly an awesome collection that I will enjoy again in the future. Now, on to collection two, which I've just downloaded.

6 stories that we already have as full video
I can't help but wonder why make these narrated versions of stories that we have available as full and complete videos on DVD and BluRay. That said, we get great interviews from the actors providing that narration, so this is far from useless. Still great, well written stories. If only the new TV show would pay attention to these.
