Finally Starting to Feel More in Control
I didn’t even know what disorganized attachment meant until recently, but this book nailed what I’ve been feeling for years. It helped me recognize some deep-rooted patterns I didn’t realize were connected. The tone feels supportive—not preachy—and the exercises are actually useful. I’m learning to slow down and respond instead of react, especially in tough moments. Definitely worth it if you're trying to build more stable, healthy relationships.

Tender, Honest, and Deeply Restorative
This book really knows how to highlight the different styles of disorganized attachment and how toxic they can be. It reminds the reader to recognize attachment behaviors like struggling to make decisions and offers practical solutions to overcome that behavior. The author encourages focusing on activities that bring you joy without seeking other people’s approval. Building a strong support network is a great strategy as well as using positive affirmations before engaging in social interactions. I love the idea of using eye contact and small talk to help you engage in social interaction with ease. Disorganized attachment doesn’t have to be a challenge anymore.
