Great ending to the series

I've loved all three books in this series, but not gonna lie I wanted Dom's from the beginning, and it did not disappoint. Definitely my favorite. Undercover danger, denying feelings, tortured hero and heroine for that matter. Action, suspense, angst, danger, love, and an hard won HEA. All delivered with great narration.

Why is the heroine so needy

The story is good but the heroine is so needy and annoying. Usually people who learn to depend on themselves aren’t so clingy. You could have removed the love stopper and it would have been better. Don’t recommend

Great read!

This story was well written and engaging. It pulled me in from beginning to end. It is the third in the series and while it can be read as a standalone we have met both Dom and Daisy in the previous book/s and Dom is after the head of Pyramid, a league of assassins. In this one, Dom is preparing to go undercover and infiltrate Pyramid in order to locate the boss and stop their big plan in New York. Dom and Daisy are closely connected now as her best friend is with Dom's partner Gray and they had a one night stand about a year ago that looked like it might be more but then Dom disappeared on her. Dom lost someone he loved deeply back in Afghanistan and has not let anyone in since then romantically. Daisy is someone that has already started to get past that wall and it scares him. Now when he is undercover on a super dangerous job, Daisy and him are thrown together again and it is getting harder and harder for him not to try. This story was well written with the twists and turns and intrigue as Dom tried to keep Daisy safe and out of things as much as possible while also protecting his cover and figuring out what the Pyramid was up to and who was behind it all and getting the proof to end it. I thought it was well done and I enjoyed watching Daisy and Dom figure their things out as well. Both have things that they need to work out from their past as they both have been hurt deeply, though in different ways. This was a great series that I enjoyed a lot.
The narrator did a good job with the story and characters and bringing them to life and adding that extra dynamic.

Good Story

I don't understand how Daisy really believed that on one hand, Dom was her savior and on the other hand, her enemy. She knew him for a total of a few hours, and then slept with him. No matter how magical the experience was, there is no way it's believable to think he would love her forever and be her knight in shining armor. She kept lamenting on how he threw her away. Other than that, I really liked the overall storyline.

Love the strength of both characters!

So glad I found this author. Strong characters with integrity, grit and heart. I'm sorry to reach the end of the series.

Great story but….

The three books in this series have great plots and characters. The readings are very well done.

My disappointment was in the language and explicit sexual content. The language was continually filled with swearing - especially the “F word”. It made the story feel contrived and was distracting to the story.

The sexual content felt overblown. I’d like to think there are men in this world who don’t view all women as sexual objects. The physical descriptions of male characters’ attributes is basically the same for each man in the story. They are all bountifully endowed and unrealistically brave and creative. The women are constantly drooling over the beauty of their bodies (and likewise for the men) - when they aren’t in bed making love.

I recommend these books if you can move past the language and sexual stuff. As I said, the story lines are wonderful.

Explicit

Could be better without all the explicit sex. Storyline was good.. I liked the storyline and it it’s what kept me skipping through the boring the sex.
