Sweet story

I really enjoyed this book. The series is so sweet. My only complaint is the female narrator has these awkward pauses all throughout.

Stories in Heart's Cove continue

I started reading and listening to this series through KU and Audible Plus and have really enjoyed them. This small town is charming and evolving with the addition of the new residents. Will continue with the series.

Dirty little midlife mess

I enjoyed listening to this story about a quirky friend we all want. She finds her happy ever after, after a divorce and a change of town. I enjoyed this relatable story about romance and a woman's independence. I recommend you read it. This story is so much fun.

TENDER HEARTS 💕

Relationships/the second time around. You sometimes find yourself, xarrying old issues, hurts and mindsets into the New Relationship.

Good series

Loved it. can't wait for the next in series. so cute and smexy. love that she writes for us older women with us still sexy and not putting up with anyone's crap.

2nd book is the series didn’t live up….

I loved the first book, “Dirty Little Midlife Crisis” so I happily started the second promptly after finishing the first. This story was very, very slow. Many details, lots of over explanations, and it made the story drag, tempting me to skip a few minutes to see if the story had progressed. The characters are still wonderful and interesting and the small town is still full of charm. Just because this book did not live up to the first will not deter me from reading the others but I can say this book is not making my list of favorites. I would have loved to see some sweet revenge of Elina and Shawn not getting Wes’s inheritance but maybe it will be touched on in a later book.

Somewhat confusing at times…

The story deviates from Simone’s story at times with more than a mention involving the lives of the other three girls co-owning the bakery. If you miss a name, because it’s difficult to distinguish between the female voices, it takes a minute to tell what’s going on.

Potential but falls short

So many things in this book make me not like Simone. I think it kind of spoiled the book for me. And every time the female narrator said “Wez” instead of “Wes” with an “s” sound it drove me nuts.

A little boring

I was really excited to read/listen to this book because I’ve read reviews that said it was funny. Unfortunately, I thought it was a little slow and boring. I also didn’t like the that they had different view points randomly throughout the book, made it slightly confusing even when the name was announced. The narration was smooth.
