Blatty is both an excellent reader and craftsman!

An espionage tale with a wrapping of religious themes, Dimiter is beautifully written and plotted. Worth stepping out of the box for his horror fans.

Still not sure what happened

I managed to crawl my way through this book at a steady pace and still have no clue as to what happened. I know ive got ADD but i dont usually struggle with a story line. Really wish i would have been able to find a helpful review to prepare me for the boredom i was to encounter. Seems like it just rode on the coat tails of The Exorcist.

Well Written

I like Blatty’s style but think the Exorcist was his best work. I would recommend all of his books. Thanks

Very slow in understanding where it’s going

This is a very, very boring book, not really worth listening fast first chapter. Dully written, I was expecting something better than the exorcist coming from this gentleman.

Too much and too little

I’m halfway into this audiobook and I’m still kind of clueless as to what is happening. I’ll do an end review if I can manage to complete this story. I find myself shutting down the Audible app and listening to music instead. The narrator does a great job but the story just doesn’t grab my attention. I find myself spacing out frequently. So far it’s ver meh.
