Had to return
I love Nia Arthurs and have read, and re-read most of her books. I have bought this book on my kindle but saw it on audible and thought that the story was so good when I read it that I'd spend a credit and listen to it being narrated. I don't like the narrartor...at all. In fact 4 hours in to the book, I decided I couldn't take it anymore and returned it.
It would be better if it had two narrators, male and female...the accent was cute for the female but not when she was portraying the narration for an American Man

Hard to get through the narration
The story was OK but not enough to enjoy through the narration. I didn't really connect with the characters enough to care if they repaired their relationship

This narrator is terrible
I tried 4 times to listen to this book and just can’t do it! This narrator is the worst, her monotone voice continually put me to sleep and she should NEVER. Have been selected to play both roles. She had no male voice which made it hard to keep up with whose perspective she was speaking from. Just bad!

Great Audio
This is my 2nd audio from the authors & I love the story line. I still don’t like the narrator. It would be much nicer to hear a male & female narrator as described in the story.
