Spannende Geschichte, die mich zum Nachdenken anregt

Der Sprecher ist echt gut und Geschichte spannend. Der biologische Hintergrund ist auch ziemlich interessant. An vielen Punkten spiegeln sich die Figuren in mir persönlich. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen :)

Epic- scale scifi adventure

Very readable and entertaining. Shows its age in certain parts. Has racial bias. A rich set of mostly believable characters.

Eye Opening

Very interesting and thought provoking. Thankfully, we don't need to deal with the Yrr and thankfully we don't need to question our faith based on this issue. But we should question our role and responsibility on this beautiful planet, our motives and our limitations. And we should learn to think as "one" and search for ways to educate globally and successfully. We need to improve ourselves for the time we are allowed to live here in this system of things and for all species who follow us. Until God says: enough.

Mother nature strikes back

One of my all-time favorites and I am going to listen to this book repeatedly. Granted, you must be patient at the beginning to get know all the characters. The author has to introduce different places and different characters in order to pick up the pace going forward. But it is so worth it. It might be fiction but observing how we behave and destroy planet earth; it is not too far of from the mother natures opportunities to teach us a lesson. Makes you think twice about your behavior. Very well researched and written, the characters are excellently presented.

Author verliert sich

Fängt ganz spannend an.
Aber die 2.te Hälft ist schrecklich langsam und uninteressant, und nichts passiert.
Ich habe es als Höhrbuch beim Sport gehört. Hätte ich es in Druckform gehabt, hätte ich es nach der Hälfte im Altpapier geleget.
Schade. Weil der Aufbau gut ist.

This book is an eye opener. Very well researched and the story packaged in a way that is especially relevant in a time of religious extremism like 2017.
