In diesem spannenden historischen Abenteuer wird eine längst vergessen Welt durch Stephan Baumeckers Stimme lebendig.
Hanns Kneifel wurde am 11. Juli 1936 in Gleiwitz, Oberschlesien, geboren, wuchs jedoch ab 1945 in Oberbayern auf. Seit 1948 lebte er in München und zeitweise auf Sardinien. 1960 begann er ein Studium der Pädagogik, nachdem er seine Konditormeister-Ausbildung und sein Begabtenabitur beendet hatte. 1965 begann er nach Abschluss des Staatsexamens als Berufsschullehrer in Kitzingen zu arbeiten, bis er sich dazu entschloss als freier Schriftsteller von Romanen zu arbeiten. In den 1980er Jahren wurde er der Chefredakteur der Stadtzeitschrift Wir Münchner. Nach langer Pause schrieb er ab 2000 als Gastautor an der Perry-Rhodan-Heftserie mit, bis er am 7. März 2012 in München verstarb.
