Sebastian ist sauer. Er hatte sich erhofft, dieses Virtual-Reality-Spiel, von dem alle reden, einmal selbst ausprobieren zu können. Doch Julia, seine Lebensgefährtin, ist strikt dagegen.

Getrieben durch die Ereignisse findet sich Sebastian kurze Zeit später in einer Kneipe in genau dieser virtuellen Spielewelt wieder: Baresea Online - eine mittelalterliche Welt voller Magie und aufregender Abenteuer. Als Sebastian feststellt, dass er sich nicht aus dem Spiel ausloggen kann, bleibt ihm keine andere Wahl, als sich auf den Weg zu machen - um mehr über die Hintergründe zu erfahren und um das Rätsel zu lösen.
