Christmas is a time for joy, but for one family in St. Louis, it’s anything but. After their son is diagnosed with the “Christmas disease,” a crowdfunding effort is launched to procure the costly drug he needs. But the young boy has a different wish – he wants Santa Claus to visit the hospital so he can prove to his twin sister that he exists.
Not wanting to let a political opportunity go to waste when the request goes viral, the White House chief of staff dispatches communications director MacKenzie Walsh to Finland to bring Santa to the United States. There is one major problem – St. Nick won’t come unless two very special people ask, and they aren’t talking to each other.
Stowe Bessette and Wyatt Huffman have no Christmas spirit months after their relationship ended in late summer. Now, they must find a way to move past the hurt and reconcile enough to deliver one more Christmas miracle. Together with Santa Claus, they will take the president’s plane on a journey to three continents to show the world the magic of the holiday. Not everyone wants them to succeed.
A powerful pharmaceutical corporation tries to manipulate the media and conspire against them. The task falls to a beleaguered senior vice president with an eye on his next promotion, but will his struggles with his family make him more willing to trade his livelihood to do the right thing?
