After sending her ex-fiance to prison for a pair of murders that she callously orchestrated, and putting his brother Wah in a coma with six shots from her .380, Miko Dunbar has every intention of becoming the coldest queenpin California has ever known. With Deeply Rooted ambitions of following in her father's footsteps, Miko vows never to make the same mistake her kingpin father made, she swears not to meet with the same fate he had. But Miko's cutthroat approach to the game ruffles a lot of feathers, and some of Southeast San Diego's more notorious gangsta's take offense with how she operates. One clique in particular, the Young Glock Gang, set out to pillage, plunder, and destroy everything Miko worked so hard to build, and as a result the streets run red with blood when gunplay ensues. In the meantime, Baby Shug sits in a maximum security prison with thoughts of murder as his strongest motivation to continue living in hopes of one day getting out and being afforded the opportunity of killing the only woman he's ever loved. Meanwhile Wah languishes in a hospital bed on a comatose state with only his beleaguered thoughts keeping him company. Thoughts of Toccara, the woman he loved dearly, who unbeknownst to him had been shot by Miko and buried under the lemon tree located in the backyard he grew up playing in as a child. And like his Baby Shug, he too is motivated by murderous thoughts of conquering his coma so that he too can exact revenge and kill the woman who shot him, the coldblooded Miko Dunbar.
