Follow the law, or follow their hearts?

By-the-book Bo Schollenberger’s training to be the new boss at the Southeastern Narcotics Bureau. He’s always been the moral compass for his partner Lucky Lucklighter, or Simon Harrison, or whatever-the-hell his name is this week.

Lucky might have read the book, or parts of it, but toes the line between legal and…not so legal. A little moral elasticity lets him out-maneuver the bad guys. It’s not broke, why fix it?

They butt heads at work, but they’re rock solid at home, where their biggest concern is when, or if, they’ll become parents.

Their latest case puts them in a tailspin when drugs flood a local high school and someone hands Lucky’s nephew a vial of pills like they were candy. Unraveling the drug ring leads them straight into a nest of human trafficking, way outside the jurisdiction of the SNB, but no way could Bo and Lucky let the perpetrators leave Atlanta scot-free. No one gets away with harming innocents, especially family.

The letter of the law says to trust the legal system, but doing the right thing might lead them outside the lines.

Especially when the youngest trafficking victim lands squarely in Bo’s lap.

Characters are really what is the draw on this series.

Reading about the human side of people who do a very hard job brings into focus what really matters. And how it affects so many. Like a ripple in a stream it ripples extend out very far. I suggest reading all the books in sequence so the reader truly get to know the characters and truly understand why jobs like this is very important. . I look back and think I almost didn’t read these books when I started the first book but am really glad I continued

Love Bo and Lucky

This is a super amazing series. Bo and Lucky are as always on the wire. This story was no different lots of action and adventure with a few ups and downs for our main characters. This is a wonderful active series and I can’t wait for more. The narration was great.

Good story. Good narration.

This was another great addition to the Diversion series. Just when you think Lucky has reached the pinnacle of personal development, he surprises the reader with more self introspection.

I am looking forward to the next book, but also dreading the reality that it is probably the last of one.

As always, Darcy Stark does a wonderful job of capturing the voices and emotions of the Diversion cast.

I always like this series lucky has come a long way look forward to the next book. But not looking forward to the end of the series.

Omg, I don’t have words to describe how much I love this series. I love Bo and Lucky and the journey they’ve gone through. Eden is so good at making her stories well written and her characters are so well developed. I absolutely love seeing how much further they come with each story. She knows how to keep things exciting as well. Not one moment is boring, and even though there are a couple of predictable moments, there are still several plot twist that totally took me by surprise. Darcy Stark does such a great job with the narration too. I really cannot imagine anyone else being more perfect for the voices of Bo and Lucky.
