Same mistakes as other writers

I got halfway through the third book before my BS meter maxed out and I had to turn it off. YOU CANT HAVE CHARACTERS WHO ARE POWERFUL, VICTORS OF AGES OF STRUGGLE - and DUMB AS A BOX OF ROCKS. It always kills a good story with characters who are truly likeable when the author is determined to strain my ability to believe they could be so stupid.

Recommend it!

It's hard to recommend this book without giving away all of the surprise plot twists, so I'm going to just say that if you did a mashup of Indiana Jones, Underworld, and Night of the Living Dead, you might come close to capturing the awesomeness that is the Deathless series. It's such a divergence from mainstream, yet hits all of the right buttons. When I was finished listening to the longest audiobook I've ever read, my first thought was, wait, it's over? 40 plus hours of awesome!

Make it a TV series!!!! It's awesome!!

great time like every ancient aliens episode wrapped up with vampires were wolf's and zombies. story line has a few holes but If you just roll with it it's a blast

Breathtaking!!

This whole story is amazing, the reader is very good at having different voices for each character and how he transitioned his voice from human to shifting beast!!! Keep up the great work and I'm looking forward to reading the prequel!!!

Great series!

Solid characters, strong plot line, nice mix of history, myth and new ideas. I really like Chris’s work and will listen to everything that he creates.

Glad I gave it a chance

A little slow at the very very beginning but ramps up quickly. The werewolves are basically the heroes but not exclusively so. The weres, vamps, zombies are all uniquely done and done well.

Try it out, it's pretty sweet.

but the Author knows it is and plays on that fact. cool spin on the oragins of all our favorite monsters. Fun book to listen to.

decent listen

it was pretty good. If you get discouraged in the first couple of hours and stop you will probably regret it. It's worth the time to stick it through and get to the meat, no pun intended...
