I listened straight through.

I had mixed feelings about this title thinking it would be lame. However, the book’s thematic organization allows this select cross-section of interviewees to return many times throughout the book. I feel like I know them.

The narrators were perfect too. I especially appreciate that the male reader didn’t try (for the most part anyway) to imitate the familiar voices of the “stage” people.

It’s a comfortable easy listen. You will find joy in the common experience; Letters from the tribe.

A great read.

Great short stories and tales helping to remind one of how it was and is to be a Dead Head. This will get replayed many times.

A Must Have For Any Deadhead

In many ways, this work is reminiscent of Greenfield’s book on Jerry, but with the wider spectrum of it being the whole Grateful Dead. Nothing you wouldn’t enjoy with some Dead playing.

Greatly enjoying this audiobook. Easy to listen in short sessions. The stories bring me back to when I got on the bus in 1987 and the magic that continues to follow me for the rest of my life. God bless the Grateful Dead and heads around the world. We are everywhere!
