Another great addition

Angela Marsons has written another great addition to the series. It was full of all the action and twists we’ve come to enjoy. Jan Cramer gave a stellar performance as she brought it all to life. The only negative aspect was that it had to come to an end.

I love this series!

The narrator could not be more PERFECT in bringing out the spirit of this series that will get you hooked. Her rendition of Kim Stone makes Kim's acerbic nature truly endearing. On the flip side, the way she delivers the sweet, patronizing demeanor Kim bestows on her adversaries embodies all of the reasons they have to want her dead :)
I highly recommend this entire series.

Gut wrenching

This is such a good book. Completely gut wrenching and hard to read but a really good story.

Healing for Kim

Kim Stone is not a likable character, although the author helps readers and listeners understand her and so offers the chance for us outside the story to choose to develop empathy for her. In this addition to the series, Kim has to bare her story to those she has power over, her Team. In other volumes, it's only those with power over her and who are male who have this intimate knowledge. I'm curious how the author will move the arc forward if the series continues. I will have trouble accepting the Kim if she continues to act as if her past still was a secret to her peers and subordinates.

I absolutely loved it as I knew I would. Angela Marsons never disappoints. The Kim Stone series is awesome and I can not wait for the next book.

Another gripping Kim Stone saga

I eagerly await each new Kim Stone story. However saddening DI Stone is, I love her. Her strength and courage, and the compassion she tries to ignore, make her a complexl character. Marsons's writing captures Stone perfectly as her character develops in.each book. I can't wait for the next one.

More layers of Kim Stone revealed

This book is unputdownable. Each one of the Kim Stone books just get better. Can't wait for the next one.
